The plot proceeds in a series of confrontations with Medardus, his mother and sister, the blind exiled Count of Valois, his ambitious daughter, and Napoleon himself (portrayed as a cool strategist), including several brief flashbacks.

Gorchlach: The legend of Cordelia 2015

Surcouf 1925

This film is an in-camera portrait of my niece, Mia Larose (who was six months old at the time) captured during a winter family reunion in Lac Saint-Charles, Québec. Shot on a single roll of super 8mm film and hand-processed.

ECHT 2015

Located in an uncertain yet near future, ECHT depicts a scenario in which British institutions and ruling systems have collapsed and the current regime is characterised by a fast-track feudalism. In it, status is based on conspicuous consumption and hoarders are kings, having set up their new courts in former dance halls and clubs. ECHT has been shortlisted for the 2015 Jarman Award.

Koto Orun 1989

Set in the pre-colonial era, a certain village was besieged by witches who torment the villagers at will. Although the evil witches are often confronted by the good ones, referred to as “aje funfun” (the white witches) in the movie, it wasn’t enough to rid the town of these evil ones’ infestation. However, in response to the plight of the people of the village, the gods promised them a saviour who will be delivered by one of the kings wives that will conquer the evil witches. So the witches, including the king’s first wife, came up with schemes after schemes to kill the prophesised bearer of the messiah.

Projekt Huemul: The IVth Reich in Argentina 2008

In 1946, President Peron started a secret nuclear project with the help of Nazis refugees which consisted in the use of a new method "Nuclear Fusion". Five years later, he would announce to the world his succeed. Even today, no country around the world has achieved it.

Nadeshiko Tai 2008

The story is set in Chiran, Kagoshima, the site of a secret base used to launch kamikaze missions during the war. At the time, a group of young girls known as the Nadeshiko Tai were gathered to help out at the base. The drama will be part documentary and it is based on the experiences of 78-year-old Shoko Nagasaki, a survivor of the Nadeshiko Tai.
